Slayers 2 Boss Locations

Every Slayers 2 boss we have a reported location for — 18 of them, from Zuko on the road out of the starting village to the Hand Demon at the end of Final Selection. Each entry says where it spawns, in the farming order the guides recommend. 3 bosses spawn only at night — Sumari, Yahari and Reaper — so an empty spot in daylight does not mean you are in the wrong place.

All bosses at a glance

BossAreaSpawn note
Zuko Windy PeakThe bandit boss on the road out of the starting village — Krue's level 7 quest unlocks him; he respawns a few minutes after a kill
Akaza Windy PeakBehind an illusory rock wall — walk straight through the rock face into the clearing behind it
Shinobu Mistfall HarborIn the open green field, down the path from Sanemi
Obanai Bamboo GroveAbove the grove to the north — ride out through the Wilderness gates
Water Trainee Sabito Bamboo GroveA mini-boss by the river on the central path, before Giyu's bridge; respawns in about two minutes
Giyu Bamboo GroveBeside the bridge on the dirt path through the forest, just past Sabito
Sumari 🌙Bamboo GroveJust past the grove near the gates, across the bridge from Yahari
Yahari 🌙Bamboo GroveBy the wooden bridge in the grove, a short run from Sumari
Reaper 🌙Bamboo GrovePast Giyu's bridge, directly behind Sumari's spot
Mother Bear Bear AreaTom's level 18 quest target — other players can attack you while you fight her
Zentaro Hidden Mist VillageBeside a hut on the lower cliff ledge below Obanai — glide down rather than climbing
Gyomei Hidden Mist VillageOn the long winding mountain path up to the village — pair him with Zentaro for one trip
Tengen Iceveil ValleyIn the snowy village through the gates, a short walk from Frost Veil Shrine
Doma Iceveil ValleyPast Tengen: cross the red bridge, pass under the torii gates into the open courtyard. One guide reports night-only spawns; the others do not mention a cycle
Yeti Iceveil ValleyIn a cave on the route near Butterfly Estate — not a standing spawn, summon it with a Frozen Heart
Nezura Final SelectionIn the open among lit torches on the Plains, below Rengoku's cliff
Fujiko Final SelectionIn a hidden cave through the dense trees past Nezura — nothing on the map points to it
Hand Demon Final SelectionThe exam's final boss, around 1,300 HP — talk to Steve to start the objective, then return to The Sisters to finish

The boss farming route

  1. Start with the two quest bosses: Zuko (level 7 bandit chain) and Mother Bear (level 18).
  2. Do one lap of Bamboo Grove: Obanai → Sabito → Giyu → the night trio (Sumari, Yahari, Reaper) if it is dark.
  3. Second trip: Daki and Gyutaro in the waterfall cave, then Sanemi and Shinobu on the surface, then Rengoku across the suspension bridge.
  4. Third trip: Iceveil Valley (Tengen, Doma, summonable Yeti), Akaza behind the illusory wall at Windy Peak, and Enmu in Dreamfall Hollow.
  5. Leave the Final Selection bosses (Nezura, Fujiko, Hand Demon) for the exam itself.

Cold warning: Iceveil Valley drains health without protection — equip the Emberheart Lantern before you go (see the Iceveil Valley page).

HP reports: community guides give world bosses 3,000 HP plus 1,000 for each extra player in the fight; Sabito is reported at 600–800 HP (sources disagree) and the Hand Demon at about 1,300. These are player-reported, not official.

Where is Muzan?

Muzan is not on the boss table because he is a quest NPC, not a farm target — he only appears at night, in three reported search areas: around Ginzo and the ramps at Mistfall Harbor, around the Clothing Shop and Tengai boss area in the snow, and on the lower wooden paths of Hidden Mist Village. The full search route is in the demon conversion guide.

Name spellings vary between guides

Guides spell several boss names differently: Obanai or Obari, Doma or Domae, Sanemi or Saneri, Tengen or Tengai, Sumari or Temari. The table above uses the most common spelling; if an NPC is missing where you expected it, check the area page for the alternates — trainer NPC and boss versions of the same character sometimes share a spot and sometimes do not.

Boss farming FAQ

How many bosses are in Slayers 2?

23 reported spawns across 13 areas, plus Muzan as a quest NPC and the Yeti as a summonable special case. Only the two quest bosses (Zuko, Mother Bear) and the exam boss (Hand Demon) have published levels — the world bosses scale by party size.

What is the best boss farming route?

The community lap: Zuko and Mother Bear first (quest bosses), one Bamboo Grove pass (six spawns, night trio after dark), then Daki/Gyutaro in the waterfall cave, Sanemi and Shinobu on the surface, Rengoku across the bridge, and the Iceveil trio on a cold-protected second trip. Akaza (Windy Peak) and Enmu (Dreamfall Hollow) sit on side branches.

Do Slayers 2 bosses respawn?

Yes — the documented respawn is a few minutes for standard bosses (Zuko is explicitly noted to return after a kill, and Water Trainee Sabito in about two minutes). Night-only bosses obviously wait for the next night cycle. World boss HP reportedly scales: 3,000 base plus 1,000 per extra player.

Which bosses drop the best loot?

Community-documented highlights: Zuko's Cutlass (reported 20% drop, carries Quick Draw), Doma's cold-immunity relevance, and the boss chests that feed the coin-pouch wen loop. Exact drop tables for most bosses are still community-estimated rather than verified.

Where does the Yeti spawn?

It doesn't stand in the world — you summon it with a Frozen Heart at its Iceveil Valley cave near Butterfly Estate. The Frozen Heart comes from higher-tier chests or the Black Market (reported 10,000 Wen), and the fight drops the Ember Heart Lantern at a reported 25%.

What level should I be for world bosses?

Match the area's band: Mistfall Harbor bosses at 10-25, Bamboo Grove's six at 13-25, Hidden Mist's pair at 65, Iceveil's trio at 90-115. Under-leveled, you die; over-leveled, the EXP stops mattering but drops still pay. Bring a group for the Iceveil trio — the cold plus the Yeti's scaling is the hardest solo check in the game.

Boss spots are community-reported (guides read late September 2026) and can move between updates.
